What I did this week

This week I was working on my edit. My goal was to finish it on Friday which was reached. I also tracked down two more people for my highlights story. I update the script too in order to match the final version of my documentary.

Having my meeting with Antje this week was very helpful because while we were talking about the reflection, she clarified it for me what I need to do and how to structure it so I can get started on it. Also, following her advice I re re-corded some of my presenter sections because I had to refer to Dr Himanshu as ‘’Dr Tyagi’’ to not confuse the audience.

Challenges I faced this week

• Edit – I was struggling to finish the edit as I had to cut down even more to have it just seven minutes. I had to replace the last bit of Angela’s with my voiceover so I could save some time because her piece was a bit too long.

• I also had to cut down and clear some sounds from my interviews with Lucinda and Angela so I could make some space

• Music – I was struggling with the music at the beginning and end because I did not know how to make it smoother as it was too abrupt and loud

• Reflection – I find it hard to write the reflection because I do not know how to include a journal's reference in my reflection about my project because I just feel like that is not balanced ; it is hard for me to find the balance of including academic work into it and link the two together.
